Our Commitment
Our commitment to serving exclusively on the owner's side—with no conflicts of interest, no hidden incentives, and complete transparency in everything we do.
"We are not designers, builders, or construction managers. We are the Owner's advisor—focused on protecting the project, the budget, and the decision-making process."
These principles guide every engagement and ensure our advice remains objective, honest, and aligned with your interests alone.
We work exclusively for the Owner—never for contractors, designers, or other parties with competing interests. Your success is our only measure of success.
"Our loyalty is to you and your project—no one else."
We accept no referral fees, commissions, or incentives from any contractor, vendor, supplier, or service provider. Our recommendations are based solely on your best interests.
"When we recommend someone, it's because they're right for your project—not because we get paid."
We never charge percentage-of-cost fees or "savings-based" compensation. Our fees are structured so we have no incentive to inflate your project cost or create unnecessary work.
"Our advice won't change based on how much your project costs."
All fees are fixed or capped and are independent of construction cost, contractor pricing, project savings, or financing outcomes. You'll know what you're paying before we start.
"No surprises. Cost certainty from day one."
We proactively disclose any potential conflicts of interest. If a situation arises where our objectivity could be questioned, you'll know about it before it becomes an issue.
"Transparency isn't optional—it's how we operate."
We provide honest, direct advice and clearly state our assumptions and limitations. You'll hear what you need to hear—not what you want to hear.
"We'd rather give you hard truths than comfortable lies."
In construction, conflicts of interest are everywhere. Here's why our independence protects you.
Contractors recommending themselves
Design-build firms often steer decisions toward their own construction capabilities
Advisors with referral arrangements
Some consultants receive fees for recommending specific contractors or suppliers
Percentage-based compensation
When advisors earn more as your project costs more, their incentives are misaligned
Dual-role conflicts
Parties who both advise and execute can't objectively evaluate their own work
Advisory only—never execution
We don't design, build, or manage construction—we advise on your behalf
No financial relationships with vendors
We receive no compensation from anyone except you
Fixed fees aligned with your success
Our compensation doesn't increase when your project costs increase
Single role, single focus
We protect your interests—that's our only job
Clear boundaries protect both you and us—and ensure our advice remains independent and objective.
Risk assessment and identification — Find problems before they find your budget
Procurement support — Develop clear, competitive bid packages
Contract coordination — Ensure clear expectations with A/E consultants
Budget and schedule oversight — Maintain discipline as variables change
Change order advisory — Review and protect your interests
Decision support — Plain-language guidance at every decision point
These boundaries ensure we remain independent advisors—not conflicted participants.
Architecture, engineering, surveying, or design services (no seals/stamps)
Construction execution, site control, means/methods, or safety programs
Inspections, testing, certifications, code determinations, or permitting
Legal advice or dispute representation
Guarantees of cost, schedule, quality, savings, or financing outcomes
Your project information, budgets, contracts, and business details are held in strict confidence. We never share client information without explicit authorization.
Our recommendations are based on professional judgment, industry experience, and objective analysis—not personal relationships or financial incentives.
We document our assumptions, limitations, and the basis for our recommendations. You'll always understand the reasoning behind our advice.
Procurement and contract documents provided are owner-furnished drafts for coordination purposes and should be reviewed by the Owner's legal counsel prior to issuance or execution. We provide advisory services only. Final legal review and approval remains the responsibility of the Owner and their legal counsel.
Our independence isn't just a policy—it's the foundation of everything we do. When you work with us, you get advice that's focused solely on protecting your interests.
